5th Grade Ski Opportunity

The Vermont Ski Areas Association and its member areas want all fifth graders to have the opportunity to ski or ride with their families. This program is designed to encourage families to spend time together in the mountains enjoying a healthy, safe and FUN family activity.  How much does my passport cost? The only cost is a $10 administration and processing fee. After that, you can ski and snowboard all winter for FREE!  When is the Passport valid? Passports are valid from December 1, 2010 - May 1, 2011, excluding blackout dates. Check blackout dates on each area’s coupon or in the Rules and Regulations section.   Why fifth grade? Fifth grade is a great age for children to successfully learn to ski or snowboard. We hope that through a positive introduction to the sport, 5th graders will continue to be lifelong lovers of skiing and snowboarding. This program also fosters health and physical fitness for fifth graders and their families. For more information, or an application form go to
